Monday July 20th 2020
My Monday was a lot of fun! I started with checking my email, making a planning for the month & then it was time to go to the gym.
It was the first time going to the gym since the quarantine started & it felt very good to be back again. I walked home afterwards, because I already felt a huge soreness coming up & it was nice to enjoy the weather and walk in the city.
I really felt like cooking a healthy meal after my workout, so I decided to make myself this delicious pasta with red bell pepper, zucchini & tomatoes. I also had a few pieces of bread 🥖 left that I had earlier that day & would go perfectly with the pasta sauce. I made extra for later that week (meal prepping).
After our dinner, my boyfriend and I went on a walk to the camera store. We have been looking for a new camera for a while, and we wanted to make a decision, so we went to the camera store to compare a few of the cameras we had our eyes on.
This is one of the cameras we checked out, but not the one we ended up buying.
My boyfriend and I have this new habit/routine thing we do in the evening. We make a cup of tea & watch a show on Netflix. It’s very relaxing to end the day like this. Tuesday July 21st 2020
I had to go to the office on Tuesday to get a bunch of stuff done. I got ready, packed my bag & went on the move.
@ the office, I did a whole bunch of work that was waiting for me.
After a few hours at the office, it was time to go home & prep dinner. I made a delicious nasi.
I went to the gym after dinner for a workout for my arms and abs. It was soooo tough! I couldn’t feel my legs or arms anymore afterwards!
I went to the supermarket for some after workout snacks. I always crave for a snack after working out. I got some yoghurt, honey and grapes. Wednesday July 22nd 2020
I received a bunch of orders in my shop, so got myself ready, made myself a coffee to go & went to the office.
I had breakfast at the office and then it was time to go beastmode and finish everything in time.
I quickly went home for a meal I prepped on Monday.
The pasta was super good, but I still felt super tired after it.
I made a giant iced coffee, before going back to the office to finish my work. It was sooo good: not too sweet, creamy, not too watery, a good amount of coffee flavor.
I was soo happy when it was time to go home. Thursday July 23rd 2020
Thursday! It’s almost weekend! I had to brace myself for what would become the longest day of the week. A bunch of planners came in & had to be packed right away, so I picked out an outfit, drank my coffee & hit the road to go to the office.
We ran out of label sticker, so we had to make a stop at the store when I stumbled upon STATIONERY HEAVEN! Look at those sticky notes 😍 I wanted to get them all!
Back to the seriousness: I packed all open orders & it took me hours to finish!!
After packing all orders, I needed some nature, so I went for a long walk (we walked for over an hour). The forrest was so calming and beautiful .
We had burgers afterwards! I had a vegan nacho burger, which was soo good!
We went home afterwards & decided to go for another walk. My neighborhood is filled with flowers and pretty plants during the Summer & it’s so nice to look at them. Look at these beautiful plants I saw during the walk!

Friday started with planning my month again.
I then went to the market and picked up some fresh fruits (mangoes, avocados, bananas and a galia melon). I also found a copy of Gogol’s Dead Souls (Dutch translation) in a second hand shop for €3,50,-. I had to take it with me, since it’s been on my reading list for so long!
Time to hit the gym! I was walking around with a huge headache the whole day & it disappeared after my workout, which was so great! The focus of the workout was on chest and abs again. I train with my boyfriend and he is much more arms/shoulders/back focused than I am, but I think it is too much fun to train together.
I didn’t feel like cooking, so we went to Ikea instead for a quick meal. Saturday July 26th 2020
My Saturday started quite slow with a delicious breakfast. It’s knäckebröd with avo and with hummus, cheese and slices cucumber.
I picked out this cute outfit to wear.
I spent most of my Saturday cleaning the apartment: doing laundry, vacuuming the floor, moping the floor, doing dishes & cleaning the tables.
This is what I made for dinner (served with rice). I made extra for the next day too.
My boyfriend had some of his friends coming over, so we played games the whole night & talked and laughed together. It was a lot of fun. I didn’t take any pictures then, so there is nothing to show you unfortunately.
Sunday July 26th 2020
I was super super tired after last night & I slept for a long time before waking up. I cleaned the house after waking up, had breakfast, read a chapter of my book Dead Souls (so far really good) and wrote this blogpost. I didn’t feel like spending much time taking pictures, so I’m taking a break from that for today & will start working again tomorrow. I hope you enjoyed this week’s “A Week In The Life of a Law Student”-blogpost. I’m excited to look back at these type of posts in a year and see how much my life has changed.
