My exam period is finally over and I couldn’t be more happy. My last exam was an oral exam and the professor told me that I passed the exam. I haven’t done anything for school for the last couple of days because school hasn’t started yet. I am using my free time to rest and to get some things done for my company, Ways To Study.
With that in mind, my next semester is right around the corner. I have 2 more weeks to prepare myself (emotionally and physically) for the next semester. I think now is the time to reflect on my previous semester and set up some goals and resolutions for the upcoming one. My previous semester was hard, tough and I really had to work hard this time. I had a really hard time balancing school, my social life and my work. I am going to try to find a better way to really find a balance.
So, what went so wrong during my previous semester that I had so much stress during the exam period? It probably has something to do with the fact that the study material was a lot more, and a lot harder than in my previous years. To prevent the trouble I went through during the exam period I really need to start preparing my exams a lot earlier.
I need to find a balance between work, social life, me-time and school. Right now I am doing just one of those things the whole day or multiple days. I find it hard to do multiple or all things in the same day. When I am busy with something, I want to spend a good couple of hours on it so I can get a lot done. It is probably better for myself and my company if I do a little bit of everything every day.
Goal no. 1: find a balance between school, social/love life, me-time and work.
Resolution no. 1: do a little bit for my school, my social/love life, myself and my work every day.
Another thing that I want to do better this semester is to keep up with school. I don’t want to be behind on my schedule anymore. I am going to do my readings, go to every lecture, start preparing my exams in time. I also want to work on my sleeping pattern. The exam period has really messed up my sleeping pattern. I stayed up until late to study for my exams and got up really late. I think it is time to do something about it and go to bed earlier so I can get up earlier and enjoy my morning.
Resolution no. 2: keep up with school.
Resolution no. 3: go to bed early and get up early.
What else? Since it is my last semester of this bachelor program, I want to capture every moment. I want to vlog more. I never realized how much impact my vlogs have on people or how much people enjoy them until I didn’t really upload anything on my YouTube. I started to receive requests every day from people from all over the world to upload more study vlogs. I actually quite enjoy vlogging, and looking back at my earlier YouTube days, they are actually fun to watch. That is why I want to upload one vlog per week. I am not sure how manageable that is going to be. I have big plans for YouTube because I really want to upload more videos for you. I also want to be more active on this website and show you daily what is going on in my life as a student.
Resolution no. 4: vlog more.
Goal no 2: capture every moment.
Last but not least, I want to enjoy every moment. I love my degree, I just need to act like it more. I want to get good grades and be proud of myself at the end of the school year.
Resolution no. 5: get good grades.
Goal no. 3: enjoy the time I have left.
